Just so we're clear

I LOVE History.  Maybe that is why I can't believe some of the things people will say and do to make fiction into fact.  I also love blogs I guess that why I find myself so drawn to the writings of the Atlantic.com , more specifically Ta-nehisi Coates.  With that said I would like to mention a post from a while back virginia-4th-grade-textbook-criticized.html.  At the time I didn't comment on this but it appalling that so many can be misinformed about their history.  The Virginia text book case is bad Texas will be worse.  Where do these idiotic notions come from to re-write history..Ta-nehisi says it better here and here.  I guess you never know who has been misinformed.
